Pre-First Grade Supply List

General Supplies

 

Organization

• 1 backpack that can fit A4 folders (external water bottle pocket highly recommended)
• 2 A4 thin folders with elastic closures that can fit in a paper tray
• 2 pencil cases (best is a soft pouch that zips closed) to hold:
  • 15 sharpened pencils (Faber-Castell or Stabilo are preferred)
  • 1 pair of child scissors with a pointed tip
  • 3 larger erasers
  • 1 personal pencil sharpener
  • 3 glue sticks (Pritt brand is best, no Tesco or Auchan brand)
  • 1 box of Crayola crayons (or similar brand)
  • 1 set of colored pencils (Stabilo or Crayola)

Other Requirements

• Water bottle with a non-spill top/sports cap
• Indoor shoes and sports shoes for PE (Note: if your child cannot tie their shoes, please send shoes with Velcro)
• 1 complete change of clothes in a bag, labeled with your child’s name
• 3 boxes of tissues (no bags please)
• 1 package of wet wipes
• Parent access to a computer with internet at home
• ADD NAMES TO CLOTHES (shoes, coats, jackets, sweatshirts)/ FOLDERS/ LUNCH, SNACK BOXES/WATER BOTTLE

 

Additions for Semester 2

In January, please replenish and send in these items:

• 3 glue sticks (Pritt brand is best, no Tesco or Auchan brand)
• 15 sharpened pencils
• 2 whiteboard markers (not Crayola or light colors)
• 2 boxes of tissues (no bags please)
