I scream, you scream, we all scream for National Honor Society.
Every year, ICSB's chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) celebrates its members at our annual Recognition Night. This year, the event took place on Tuesday, May 13, and included an encouragement to each student, reflections on this year's events, and an ice cream social.
During the event, NHS Advisors, Ms. Kate Smith and Mrs. Rebecca Lingenhoel, looked back on a meaningful year filled with service and engagement, including highlights such as the Forint War and Service Day.
The ceremony also featured remarks from faculty members who shared reflections on each of the NHS core pillars. Upper School Principal, Mr. Michael Southwell, spoke about scholarship and recognized our valedictorians, Bang Joo Jeon and Nathan Park. Ms. Angela Eding offered words on leadership. Ms. Edit Márton spoke on service. Ms. Luiza Strellman shared insights on character. Each student was recognized individually for their growth in one of the core pillars.
A special thanks was extended to our senior members for their years of service and leadership.
