First Week of School

Szilvia Lázár

WE ARE BACK! The 2022-2023 school year has begun. Our first day was filled with smiles, hugs, reunions, and a few tears from students and parents alike.

The first week of school flew by quickly, and even though it was a short week, it sure was busy and FULL! So many things happened to get the year started right. We had a 'test' fire drill in the Lower School. The Freshmen took off for their Challenge at DPB House in Croatia. Students and staff enjoyed the year's first chapels. All this in just 4 days!

And, it wouldn't be the beginning of school if we didn't have sports and Middle Grades musical sign-ups. Our fall sports season will be filled with lots of practices and games, and we can't wait to see our student-athletes grow and mature. We are also excited for our Middle Grades students, starting rehearsals of "The Pirates of Penzance, Jr" on Monday. They will work hard with Mrs. Lingenhoel and will surely put on an amazing show in November!

The year is starting right and will no doubt be a fulfilling time for our ICSB Family. Join us as we are praying for a great year!

The Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you. Deuteronomy 31:8
