ICSB Bulldogs Basketball Teams played their final DVAC Championships, bringing home multiple championship titles and third-place trophies, leaving it all on the court! Our community recognized seniors and all student-athletes for their contributions to an outstanding season.
Middle Grades A & B Basketball
The Middle Grades Girls B-Team claimed the DVAC title with an impressive four-game run, demonstrating growth in execution and confidence.
The Middle Grades Girls A-Team also captured their DVAC Championship, showing their understanding of fundamentals and growth in their game time mindset and focus,, a gift they can carry on to the next level of their basketball career.
Our final DVAC, the whole team learned that during games like these, it is important to focus on OUR performance and abilities, rather than looking at the other team and judging ourselves based on how they play.

The Middle Grades Boys B-Team competed with determination, continuing to develop in skill and character over the course of the season. They pushed BISBr to a close overtime game (13–14), reflecting their resilience.
The Middle Grades Boys A-Team competed hard and finished in third place, continuing to show growth and development as the season came to a close.
Junior Varsity Victories
The JV Boys Team captured the DVAC title with three decisive wins. Their consistent play and teamwork were evident throughout the tournament and season, for that matter, leading to a well-earned championship finish. Not only that, they actually won every game they played this season! Congratulations on being undefeated all season! What an accomplishment!
The JV Girls Team traveled to Prague with the varsity team and stepped up to compete in the same varsity division tournament, taking on strong opponents, including our own Varsity Girls Basketball Team. They rose to the challenge and finished in third place in the varsity tournament. What an accomplishment! Way to go, girls!
Varsity Trophies
The Varsity Boys Basketball Team battled through a competitive field to earn a third-place finish, showing resilience and determination in each game.
Finally, the Varsity Girls Basketball Team delivered a standout performance, earning the DVAC Championship through consistent, composed play across the tournament. Their teamwork, hard work, and execution set the tone and secured them a well-deserved title. Congratulations, girls!
Senior Tributes
The Week prior to their final DVAC, every senior on the team was recognized as part of ICSB's Senior Night tradition.
Our community honored their contributions and the role they have played in Bulldog basketball.
Then two spirited matchups against parents and staff followed. It was a close game, but our staff team won the boys' game by just a couple of points in the end.
Our varsity girls beat our women's staff team, made of coaches, parents, teachers, etc., in a dramatic fashion, enjoying the chance to end their last home game with a win.
It was a fun and memorable way to wrap up the home schedule, bringing players, families, and faculty together on the court and in the "stands".
These final DVACS and recognition nights marked a strong finish to the basketball season, reflecting the effort, progress, and commitment of our Bulldogs across all levels.
Our 8 teams went a combined 60-24 on the season, winning 4 DVAC Conference Titles, 1 Budapest Cup Championship, 1 Winter Classic Championship, 1 Winter Classic 2nd Place Finish, and 3 DVAC 3rd place finishes.
