Lower School Field Trips covered a full range of real-world learning experiences, from exploring old buildings to experimenting with new technology, visiting deer friends, and pretend-working in hospitality.

Last week, our Lower School students embarked on exciting adventures across Hungary, visiting six destinations that brought their classroom studies to life. These day trips were carefully planned to support academic goals in social studies, science, and Hungarian culture, offering students a chance to connect with what they are learning in meaningful and memorable ways.

Pre-first and first graders spent the day at the Vadas Park Wildlife Preserve, where they had the chance to visit unbearably cute apex predators, and owl sorts of other animals. This pawsitive educational experience gave our youngest learners the chance to explore Hungary’s wildlife.

Our third and fourth-grade students traveled to the beautiful city of Esztergom, where they explored the Castle Museum and the historical Basilica, deepening their understanding of Hungarian history and architecture. The 5th and 6th grades visited the Commerce and Hospitality Museum to explore how various industries impact everyday life, from tourism to trade.
