The ICSB Upper School Ensemble's performance in Diósd's Advent Celebration was an opportunity to participate in Diósd tradition, represent the school, and more importantly, reflect the light of "Christ the King."

Held at Kék Géza Művelődési Ház. The event brought together local families and friends for an evening of festive fun, featuring Christmas crafts and cookies, merry music, warm tea and mulled wine, and a magical Christmas market.

The Ensemble sang popular Christmas Carols, including William Chatterton Dix and John Stainer's "What Child is This?" Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane's "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," and Ruth Morris Gray's "Have You Seen the Baby?" They also sang "Nutcracker Jingles", a rendition of "Jingle Bells" that begins with but then departs from the original melody written by Pierpont, to an a cappella medley of the most famous musical themes from Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker set to the lyrics of Jingle Bells.

This community event was a memorable way for ICSB to participate in what is happening in the Diósd community, ring in the Advent season, and humbly encourage...

...loving hearts [to] enthrone him.
