Enchanted Garden

 

The evening began with time for everyone to be seated at their tables, connect, grab their beverages, and catch up. 

 

 

Upper School Principal, Mr. Michael Southwell, prayed for the night, and shortly after, dinner was served. 

 

 

Then the games began, led by the freshman class representatives of Student Council (Stuco).

 

 

These games included the shoe game and a raffle, both of which are becoming banquet staples. 

 

 

A meaningful highlight of the evening was a time of heartfelt encouragement from Ethan R., whose thoughtful message lent a more sentimental, inspiring tone to the night. 

 

 

Then, it was time for the class gift! Every year, the junior class surprises the Seniors with a personalized gift for every member of the soon-to-be graduating class. This year, the Junior class presented a LEGO video, followed by each Twelfth grader receiving a personalized LEGO figure of themselves and an encouraging note. 

 

 

As the formal portion of the evening came to a close, students and staff headed outside to a beautiful courtyard garden, where the energy shifted into a lively dance party.

 

 

A great deal of preparation went into making this event run smoothly. We are grateful for the Junior class's efforts to give our soon-to-be graduates meaningful gifts and encouragement.

 

 

Thank you, Ms. Rachel Stowell and StuCo, for planning and organizing the event, and to the staff sponsors for chaperoning.

 

 

All in all, it was a magical evening of community building in a beautiful building, with a wonderful garden, and perhaps, at least for the night, even an enchanted one.
