Chapel Days at ICSB

As a new school year begins, school leadership spends time thinking about what God has been doing, praying about our ICSB Family's needs for future spiritual growth, and planning to foster this growth in the lives of our students. With the Lord's direction, a plan for the year's chapel emphasis is developed. This year:

• Lower School will be focusing on spiritual transformation - a Holy Spirit-empowered process through which an individual actively becomes more like Christ. This transformation is a work of the Spirit and requires personal engagement. It is an internal process, where the mind and heart are shaped to think and love like Christ, resulting in an outward life that points others to God.
• Upper School is planning to focus on various men and women that have claimed the name of Christ in such a way that there is no doubt about where they stand.  We want to highlight them as examples - people who stood for the Lord and are worthy of imitation. We are also trying to make the virtue of humility a centerpiece of what these great heroes of the faith practiced.
