Campus Improvements for the New Year

Candace Jefferies & Attila Hajdú

There are several campus improvements at ICSB to start the new year.

It may not be known, but ICSB's hard-working maintenance crew does its hardest work in the weeks the students are not on campus.  As students and staff returned last week they were greeted with several new items and better facilities.  Some of the improvements made over the summer break include:

  • New classroom furniture in some areas of the Lower School
  • New carpet, furniture, and cameras (Upper School) in the library
  • 3 new cooling water fountains with spigots to fill water bottles were installed in the Upper School
  • New escape route signs in the East Building
  • New energy-efficient LED panels in classrooms.  These panels provide more light in the rooms, no more flickering of the lights, and save 70% of the power previously used.
  • A new fire hydrant
  • An upgrade to the entry/security process for staff
  • 2 additional parking spaces in the parking garage for staff

We are very thankful for the Lord's provision as we begin this new year.

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus Phillipians 4:19
