Building Skills through Building Pyramids
Candace Jefferies
Ms. Wingler's 6th-grade students finished their unit on Ancient Egypt. The students learned about the different elements of Egyptian culture and built pyramids, of course!
Each student was tasked with building three pyramids representing religion, government, and advancements.
To demonstrate their knowledge of the information, the students were asked to share what they had learned with others. Ms. Hocutt's 1st-graders were invited into the classroom to walk around and hear from the students about their projects. It was a great time to see the students proudly explaining what the pyramids were and what each one represented about Ancient Egypt.
