Books Everywhere! Our Amazing Moonwood Book Fair

On December 11th, we hosted our first book fair with Moonwood Books. It was a great success!
Our last book fair was pre-covid, but then that company went out of business because of Brexit. Since then, we have been sadly lacking in book fairs!
But last January, I saw another international school in Budapest posting on social media about their book fair. I quickly wrote to them to get more information!
Fast forward 12 months, with lots of emails exchanged, and we had our own Moonwood Book Fair!
How it works:
- The book fair organizer brings and sets up all the hundreds and hundreds of beautiful books for sale.
- We host the event and invite people to come shop.
- She gets to sell books.
- Our families get beautiful English books to purchase.
- In return, ICSB gets a portion of the sales back in free books for the library.
This year, our library received 68 books, which you can see in the photo above!
