It's the last day of school - No running in the hall. No throwing books. No lighting the trash cans on fire. At least until after the students leave.
Just a silly joke that always makes me laugh a little. I hope it can make you smile too.
This time of the year is quite important. It signifies an end to a lot of hard work. Hard work by everyone, students, parents, teachers, administration, and many other school staff members (that we sometimes don't recognize).
I think it is appropriate to end this year's posting of Spiritual Matters with thanks and a prayer.
Thank you to those of you that faithfully read these posts. I hope that you can be encouraged, maybe learn a few things, and have fun on the journey.
Thank you to the ICSB communications team for working so hard to keep all of us informed,
Thank you parents for trusting ICSB to help train your children to be Christ Followers, Active Thinkers, Effective Communicators, Global Citizens, and Faithful Stewards.
Thank you to the administration for leading us well, especially these past few years.
Thank you to all of the behind-the-scenes support staff that do so much to make ICSB work well.
Thank you teachers for giving your time, talent, and energy to make a difference in the lives of so many.
And of course, thank you Lord for the privilege of knowing You and being able to serve You.
I pray that you have a great summer break. I pray that you will be safe and that your time with family and friends will refresh your spirit. I pray that those that will be moving on to other things will count this time at ICSB as a great memory.
I pray that the Lord will bless you and keep you, and make His face to shine on you, and that He would be gracious to you , turn His face to you, and give you peace.
