Business Support Opportunities
Businesses that are passionate about ICSB can benefit financially while supporting its students and mission. Corporations that are subject to Hungarian corporate income tax can decrease their tax base by the donation amount to public-benefit organizations (like NAKKOM, the foundation operating ICSB) because it can be counted as cost.
Furthermore, the pre-tax profit should be decreased by 20% of the non-repayable financial support or grant, or assistance provided in the form of goods or services during the tax year, without consideration to public-benefit status, under donation agreements with public-benefit organizations for supporting their activities performed in the public interest. An amount equaling 40% of the donation may decrease the pre-tax profit provided under a long-term donation agreement (minimum of three years).
In addition, a VAT exemption applies to public-benefit donations.
Businesses supporting ICSB will be acknowledged in our Annual Report, unless they wish to remain anonymous. By law, grants or donations by companies or businesses cannot count towards any Parent Contribution Fees.
If you or the company you work for are interested in supporting ICSB, please contact Szilvi Lázár in our Advancement Office.
