What is a Pledge?

 

A pledge is a commitment of making a gift at a later date for a specific amount. It can be made as a one-time gift or as a series of payments set up by the donor. Pledges to the ICSB Annual Fund at any giving level can be fulfilled by the end of the school year in which the pledge was made (June 12, 2025).  

This method of giving allows every family to participate in community donations, even if they don't have the financial resources available during the few weeks of the annual fundraising campaign. Additionally, it provides the opportunity for a donor to pledge a larger amount, which can then be paid in several smaller installments over the course of the school year.

Accepting pledges helps our school to count on all actual and promised donations. That total gift amount allows the school to budget early in the school year for all special projects that the Annual Fund helps to support. 

 

Mi a Felajánlás?

 

A felajánlás egy konkrét összegű, előre megígért adomány, melyet az ICSB éves adománygyűjtési kampánya során vállalhat az adakozó. A felajánlott összeget, egy vagy több részletben - az adakozó által megszabott időközönként - az adott tanév végéig (2025. június 12.-ig) kell eljuttatnia az ICSB-t fenntartó alapítvány részére.  

Ez az adakozási mód segít, hogy minden család részt vehessen a közösségi adományozásban, még akkor is, ha éppen az éves adománygyűjtési kampány pár hete alatt nem áll rendelkezésére anyagi forrás az adakozáshoz. Továbbá lehetőséget ad arra is, hogy egy adakozó éves szinten akár egy nagyobb összeget tudjon felajánlani, amit több kisebb részletben könnyebben tud kielégíteni. 

A felajánlások beérkezése segít, hogy iskolánk mind a tényleges, mind a megígért adományokkal számolni tudjon, és már a tanév első felében reális költségvetést készíthessen minden olyan projektre, amelyet az Annual Fund-ra (éves adománygyűjtő kampányra) befolyt összegből támogat.
