Meet Mei Mei from China, who attended ICSB for 7 years in this Senior Spotlight.

What have you been involved in at ICSB?

All of the musicals from 6th grade to 12th, choir for 7 years, basketball and volleyball, track for like 2 or 3 years, ensemble

Share about a teacher(s) and how they have impacted you positively.

Mrs. Lingenhoel always taught me to be believe in myself in things I’m passionate about because you have to believe in yourself to make others believe in the truth of what you’re performing; like in musical, and I find myself more confident now because of her encouragement and this goes to all the teachers too in many different subjects.

What’s your favorite thing or memory about ICSB?

That a sport team really builds friendships and that community that you can’t have without being apart of the high and lows, so the moment of those times winning the volleyball tournaments will always be in my core memory.

What has been the highlight of your senior year?

The dance battle at the retreat (byebyebye), although we tied with the juniors but let’s be honest…

What are some of the ways you’ve grown since you first came to ICSB?

My English definitely, I also learned a lot of different sports especially volleyball. As well as that musicals really inspired me to find what I truly love which is singing and performing.

Will you be attending college next year?

Yes

What are your future plans?

At the moment I will be going to IBS, but who knows what the future holds.
