Senior Spotlight 2026

I'm so grateful to have had such kind and beautiful teachers and staff in my life.
Mrs. Smith was always there for me, listening whenever I struggled with relationships. Mr. and Mrs. Marton always welcomed me with humor and kindness. Mrs. Strellman's warm hugs gave me the strength to get through even the hardest school days. Ms. Spence always energized me with her dance and laughter. Ms. Stowel's sweet and cute smile always brightened my day. Mr. Fletcher made me laugh every day. Ms. Soderberg and Ms. Hocutt helped me learn how to truly love and accept myself. Mr. Tarbell, Ms. Jenkins, Ms. Leamon, Ms. Endicott, and Mrs. Culberston believed in me and encouraged me even when I doubted myself if I could make it in a new environment.

Lastly, I want to give special thanks to Mrs. Lingenhoel, who found potential in me and brought it out even when I thought I was terrible at singing. Because she trusted in me more than I trusted in myself, I could learn how to believe in my own abilities. Through working with her in MG Musicals, she showed me what it's like to love and care about people and music truly in God.

I am truly grateful that these incredible adults have been part of my life. Thanks to them, I could grow and mature so much as a person and as a Christian.

Winter Classic is just a perfect event where I can deeply feel ICSB's unity as a body of Christ. It's a time filled with love, kindness, and enthusiasm that goes both inside and outside of the ICSB community. As an Upper School Dance Team leader, this season is especially meaningful to me because I get to dance with our amazing dance team girls and Ms. Spence and make lots of sweet memories together.
Being part of MG and US Musicals over the past four years has also been an incredibly valuable experience. Especially, being in the Godspell production in my sophomore year gave me another family-like community and let my faith become very strong. It was an unreplaceable experience. Also, being in Beauty and the Beast in my last year of high school allowed me to connect with the people whom I hadn't known before and to grow as both a singer and an actress.

Share a favorite book you read while you were a student at ICSB? And why did you like it?

Cannot choose one. All the time that I spend with my classmates has been the highlight.

What are some of the ways you’ve grown since you first came to ICSB?

Graduating from university, getting a job, and living happily after are my plans, but I'm looking forward to what God has planned for my future.
