In this Senior Spotlight, meet Sam from Texas, who joined the Class of 2022 for her senior year. 

 

When you think of high school, what song comes to mind?

“Cigarette Daydreams” By Cage the Elephant

 

What have you been involved in at ICSB?

I've been involved in National Honor Society.

 

What’s your favorite place on campus and why?

Probably the senior store because it’s cool that our class gets to run it.

 

How have your teachers impacted you?

Mrs. Márton is one of the many teachers who have impacted me positively. She was one of the first teachers to welcome me to the school. She is incredibly kind and compassionate, and a great Hungarian teacher! 😀 

 

What’s your favorite thing or memory about ICSB?

The Upper School retreat. 

 

What is an experience you’ve had at ICSB that you couldn’t have had anywhere else?

The diversity of our school and the strong community.

 

What are some of the ways you’ve grown since you first came to ICSB?

I have grown in knowledge of different cultures and worldviews.

 

What colleges did you apply to and where are you planning to attend?

I have been accepted into St Johns Queens, Seattle Pacific, Cal Baptist, Marbella Design Academy, and UIW San Antonio. I am planning to go to Marbella Design Academy in Spain. 

 

What is your dream job?

I’d like to work in interior architecture and design.
