In this Senior Spotlight, meet Margit from South Korea, who is a seven-year student at ICSB.

When you think of high school, what song comes to mind?

Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus.

What’s your favorite TV show or movie?

Tangled.

What have you been involved in at ICSB?

I've been involved in the Student Council, played on the chapel team and in jazz band. I helped with spotlights during musicals and I was the senior store manager.

What’s your favorite place on campus and why?

Probably the student lounge before the renovation. Those black sofas were comfortable and I just liked the vibe. Many memories come from there.

How have your teachers impacted you?

Without Mrs.Ferguson, I would not have been able to graduate in 2022. Her kindness and positivity taught me how to be a better person. Without her, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

Ms.Swenson taught me to never give up on my passion and she motivated me to be a better scholar.

What’s your favorite thing or memory about ICSB?

My favorite things about ICSB are the school spirit, diversity of education, and the campus building.

What is an experience you’ve had at ICSB that you couldn’t have had anywhere else?

Being part of such a close community.

What colleges did you apply to and where are you planning to attend?

I am planning to attend university in Korea. The application season starts in the fall.

What is your dream job?

I'm still figuring that out.
