When you think of high school, what song comes to mind?

"Daydream" by Kadri Williams

What’s your favorite TV show or movie?

Pirates of the Caribbean

What have you been involved in at ICSB?

Soccer, choir, art, musical, Student Council, National Honor Society, and yearbook.

How long have you been at ICSB?

4 years!

What’s your favorite place on campus and why?

Either Miss Cole's room, Miss Olandt's room, or the sports court. I can't choose, they all hold so many good memories.

How have your teachers impacted you?

Miss Cole has really shown her care for me and has cultivated in me an actual desire to learn. Her gifs also helped me through distance learning a lot. :) Miss Olandt has taught me that learning can be SO FUN and she has brought so much laughter into my time here. Mrs. Marton has the biggest heart out there and has loved me endlessly. Mr. Hughey was like the cool grandpa that let us goof off in study hall (sorry Mr. Southwell) which also allowed for some incredibly meaningful conversations that really made my high school experience. There are many more teachers and I really appreciate them all for investing and putting up with me. Love you all!!

What’s your favorite thing or memory about ICSB?

This is a terribly hard question to answer cause I have so many good memories but the most memorable might be the most recent High School Retreat. I had so much fun with everyone (especially volleyball and the slip n slide), had such meaningful conversations, and God really met me there. He was working so visibly in my life and others which made the experience so much sweeter. Like we all said at the campfire, there was just something else about that retreat.

What is an experience you’ve had at ICSB that you couldn’t have had anywhere else?

I would say going to Cyprus but... the opportunity to have trips going all over Europe (exempting Covid) is something incredible about going to school here.

What are some of the ways you’ve grown since you first came to ICSB?

Well as much as there were good things, I also went through some very hard times which really stretched my character. I've learned that if God is nudging you to do something or say something to someone, to do it. I realized he knows what he's doing and seeing it in retrospect I can more deeply appreciate his works. I've learned a lot about myself too, sounds cliche, but who I am rather that who people want me to be. I think giving people a chance and getting to know them before making assumptions is so important.

What colleges did you get accepted to and which one will you pick?

I was accepted to Asbury University, Biola University, and Vanguard University, but chose Vanguard.

What is your dream job?

Event Planner!
