In this Senior Spotlight, meet Ema from Romania, who has been at ICSB for 13 years, since pre-1st grade. Congratulation, Ema!

 

What’s your favorite TV show or movie?

Downtown Abbey

 

What have you been involved in at ICSB?

I was involved in Student Council, National Honor Society, Ensemble, Choir, Beta Club, Senior Store Management, Volleyball, and Art. 

 

What’s your favorite place on campus and why?

The gym, because of all the memories.

 

How have your teachers impacted you?

All teachers have impacted my life.

Miss Swenson motivated and helped me since middle school in achieving a lot academically.

Miss Marton has been so supportive throughout this year with the senior store and in my life personally.

Miss Finstrom and Miss Cole have made the class so much more enjoyable and fun. 

 

What’s your favorite thing or memory about ICSB?

The basketball tournament, because of all the memories I made there.

 

What is an experience you’ve had at ICSB that you couldn’t have had anywhere else?

The connections I've made with so many international people from various schools through events.

 

What colleges did you apply to and where are you planning to attend?

I've applied to Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, The Hague University of Applied Sciences, ZUYD University of Applied Sciences, The Royal Academy of Arts, and a couple of other schools in Denmark and Sweden. I am planning to study International Business in the Netherlands.

 

What is your dream job?

I don't know yet, but running a small business while pursuing other interests is what I'm aiming for now.
