When you think of high school, what song comes to mind?
"The Kids Aren't Alright" by Fall Out Boy
What’s your favorite TV show or movie?
What have you been involved in at ICSB?
Volleyball, Choir, Student Council, Art, and Middle School Knitting Club (1 of 2 members, a teacher and me).
How long have you been at ICSB?
What’s your favorite place on campus and why?
The Bible room at sunset. Best view of Diósd in the whole school.
How have your teachers impacted you?
Many, many teachers have had a positive impact on me, but Miss Cole, Mrs. Curby, Miss Finnstrom, and Miss Stowell come to mind. Miss Cole has pushed me to be the person I want to be. Mrs. Curby has always been a lovely friend to talk to. Miss Finnstrom has been a steady support all of these years. Miss Stowell has encouraged me to love what I love, no matter how many people hate Adam Driver.
What’s your favorite thing or memory about ICSB?
Once in middle school, me and some students from my class were being interviewed by Mrs. Curby and Braden Alexander for the newspaper. They were asking us to spell our names and when it got to Frank Fu, he politely spelled his last name for her, letter by letter. The hallway had more kids in it at this point, so Mrs. Curby raised her voice over the noise of the students, and proceeded to spell Frank's last name quite confidently to Braden.
What is an experience you’ve had at ICSB that you couldn’t have had anywhere else?
Tournament! There's something special about walking down the aisle in the gym and seeing your closest friends laughing their heads off from all the sugar and that one dance off with the KCA Eagle and our Bulldog.
What are some of the ways you’ve grown since you first came to ICSB?
I have become much more confident in who I am. Although this is a common revelation, I have found that ICSB is a community that encourages growth in every aspect.
What college or university will you be attending?
I will be a 4th generation student at North Central University in Minneapolis, Minnesota!
What is your dream job?
Museum guide in Greece.
