School Leaders

Kristi Hiltibran Ph.D., Director

Kristi began her tenure as Director in June 2018 but has been a part of ICSB since 2004. She has served as School Board Secretary, First Grade Teacher, Elementary Principal, and Director of Teaching and Learning. Kristi loves being with young people, and she and her husband, Todd, have six children who are all ICSB alumni! Kristi is passionate about education and life-long learning, and she holds a PhD in Educational Leadership from Columbia International University.

David Kelley

Lower School Principal

Dave arrived at ICSB in 2013, teaching Middle School history and technology and later serving as child protection officer and lead teacher. In 2021, he became the Lower School principal. Before coming to ICSB, he taught at a U.S. college. He is passionate about empowering teacher instruction, student learning, and parent involvement. Dave and his wife, Jenn, have three children who attend ICSB.

Dave holds a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Secondary Education.

Michael Southwell

Upper School Principal

Michael has served at ICSB since 2018, becoming the Upper School principal in 2019. Before coming to ICSB he served as a public-school teacher for 15 years. He and his wife, Fawn, have seven children with the school age children attending ICSB. His love for students and desire to see them succeed are evident in the way that he serves the teachers, parents, and students at ICSB.

Michael holds a Master of Arts in Educational Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.
