Our Curriculum
At ICSB, we have designed our own curriculum for grades 1-12 in
order to meet the unique needs of our students, and to accomplish
the school’s educational
objectives. Our entire curriculum has been developed to instill
a Christian worldview in our students, create in them an appreciation
of learning and knowledge, give them the skills they need for life,
and prepare them to succeed in college. Overall, our curriculum
is very similar to many college preparatory schools in the United
States, and we design courses at the high school level that will
equip students for North American colleges and universities. Our
school is fully accredited by the Association
of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and Middle
States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA), and the quality
of the ICSB curriculum is borne out by the success that our students
have in their undergraduate and post-graduate studies.
Our teachers use many different resources, including textbooks,
workbooks, electronic and video resources, manipulative and “hands-on”
resources, and many others. We use a variety of textbooks from
many different publishers, such as ABeka, Bethany House, Glencoe,
Heath, Harcourt-Brace, Houghton-Mifflin, and others. We work hard
to develop and provide the best learning materials for our students.
